Professional Profile: Ms. Godoy has worked closely with Mr. Cortez for more than 11 years as the firm's principal manager and forensic case organizer/coordinator. Ms. Godoy has amassed more than 20 years of combined unparalleled experience in client relations, case management and navigation within the federal judicial and correctional systems on a national level. She has seamlessly weaved her graduate education and unique and varied work experience into her daily case management and coordination of litigation staff to provide unparalleled, talented and seasoned experience to the firm's cases.
Ms. Godoy is widely known in the federal legal community for being genuinely amiable, humane and professional and possessed of a keen talent for meticulous attention to detail. Ms. Godoy's native English-Spanish speaking abilities enhance and enrich the firm's relationship with clients from all of Latin America. As part of Ms. Godoy's forensic work, she locates and interviews witnesses, conducts investigations, analyzes financial and statistical data and organizes documentary evidence in small and large cases. She drafts selected legal documents, correspondence, pleadings, and converts and summarizes discovery into a digital data bank using the best software in the industry - ISYS software.
Ms. Godoy has also trained many law clerks and new attorneys in Federal Court policies and procedures and experienced attorneys new to private practice.
